Microblading is a manual technique developed in Japan, in which pigment is implanted into the skin through fine nano-scratches. The hairs are drawn one by one, which gives the brows their natural final look. The work is done very superficially, in the uppermost layer of the skin – the epidermis. Microblading is best refreshed every 8–12 months to keep the colour fresh.
Microblading pigments are fully broken down by the skin, so if you decide not to maintain your brows, the colour will disappear completely within one and a half to two years. Your brows and skin will return to the state they were in before the first treatment.
The needles we use are sterile, opened in front of you and disposed of after the treatment. For the touch-up, which is included in the price, new needles are opened – again in front of you – and disposed of afterwards.

It is important to know that the effect of this treatment is not permanent! The idea is that over the years you can change the shape of your brows, because the muscles and the overall structure of the face change with age. This keeps your brows looking good, whatever your age.
How does the treatment work?
- A preliminary brow design is drawn to suit the shape of your face, your muscles and your bone structure.
- The most suitable colour is chosen to match your natural hair and your skin tone. Our range of brow browns has 30 shades, so we can choose exactly the right colour for you.
- Any natural hairs that fall outside the drawn shape are removed with tweezers.
- The area is numbed with a topical anaesthetic gel.
- You receive instructions for home care during the healing period.
